Keep reading to learn 8 free and cheap ways to automate your blog. These tips have earned me $10K per month from my business passively. You will definitely want to read this list!

Is blogging profitable?

Heck yeah! There are tons of ways to make money blogging and it’s so much easier than people think:

  • Ads
  • Sponsorships
  • Affiliate marketing
  • Products

Ads are the first way to monetize.

You put advertisements on your site and make money on every click.

Get 100 clicks, earn money on every single click, regardless if the user buys, signs up, shares their email address or not. It’s the easiest way to make money blogging but, it’s also the LEAST LUCRATIVE way to earn with your blog. It is passive income though!

The most I’ve ever earned with ads on my blogs has been around $400-ish per month on a lower traffic site (under 50K page views per month).

When you see that number alone, $400, you might think it’s not a lot of money.

But, $400 in passive income?

That means making $400 without doing anything. Working your 9 to 5, running your business, playing with your kids, cooking dinner, sleeping, all your regular routine stuff and in the background, making money.

Does it change your mind?

And, what if you had 5 sites, each earning $400/month?

That’s $2,000/month! In passive income.

Puts things into perspective, right?

Sponsorships

8 Free and Cheap Ways to Automate your Blog

You partner with companies that pay you to blog. On my last blog, I’d earn $250 to $400 on a sponsorship on my small blog. This included writing a blog post about the company, sharing with my email list and posting on social media.

This lucrative form of blogging income is a great source of revenue.

Affiliate Marketing Income

Refer products and services to your readers and earn a commission on the sale.

So, if you refer an ebook at $40 with a 50% commission, you just earned $20. If you sell 100 of those ebooks a month, that’s a cool $2,000 from that one affiliate program.

If you were a member of multiple affiliate programs, think about the income possibilities. And, this can be another form of passive income.

Write your blog post refer products with your affiliate links, sit back and watch your commissions come in.

Products

Products are the MOST LUCRATIVE form of blogging income. A single launch with a small list can earn you $10,000. These can be…

  • Digital courses
  • Ebooks
  • Printables
  • Digital planners

Making hundreds of dollars overnight is what people think about when they visualize making money in their sleep.
